Finally Back

Gosh, it has been a month since my last Blog. I guess you can blame it on Facebook =). Well, Ava is growing so fast. At her 4 month check up, she weighed 11 lbs 14 oz. She is now 22 inches long.... Wow time is just going way too fast. April and I were chatting online about how fast time is going by and she had to say that soon it will be Ava's first B-Day which made me feel happy and sad at the same time. Of course I wish time could go slower so she will stay little but I am at the same time excited to see the new things Ava can do. For example, her cooing is so cute.... The Good Life

I wish I could remember what it was like to be an infant. Having someone care for you and not having any responsibilities. Philip was not feeling well today so I decided to stay home from work and watch Ava. I watched her in her bouncy seat having the time of her life and I just wondered what it would be like to be an infant again.....Here is a pic of her in her bouncy..... She is using her feet to kick the toys now. She is growing so fast.....

Ava's 1st Fourth of July Continued

Well, we are back from being out. We decided to go to Celebration for a little bit and walk around. It was very hot and humid.... Ava was getting tired and was hot so we left about an hour or so after we got there but she is only 3 months old so I can not expect her to stay out long. Here are some pics of our day......I had to change Ava's shirt twice, when she was in her swing she spitted up and when we were about to leave she spitted up again. Oh well, I wash altleast one load of laundry a day anyway so its not a big deal =)......

Ava's 1st Fourth of July

It is Ava's first 4th of July and after Ava's nap we are going to either St.Cloud Lakefront or Kissimmee Lakefront. I am excited to finally get out of the house for a little while this weekend. Everytime I wanted to go somewhere, either Philip was at work or Ava wanted to nap. Philip is off and we are going to leave right when Ava wakes up from her nap. Of course Philip is napping now as well, so when my two kids =) wake up we will be on our way. I hope to take pictures and will post them when I can. I hope everyone has a happy and safe 4th.

Ava's First Photo Shoot

On April 14th, Ava had her first photo shoot =). Michelle Hill is a good friend of ours and while I was pregnant she started her photography business. For a shower gift she gave Philip and I a certificate for free maternity photo shoot and a newborn photo shoot. She is very good at what she does and I know we will hire here for future shoots. Ava's Favorite Toys

Before Ava was born, Philip and I would always stop into Babies R' Us and see what items they have for Ava's arrival. Well, one day we stopped in and they had an infant swing on sale. We could not resist since it was $30 0ff the normal price. I was hoping Ava would like it and luckily she not only likes it but loves it. We also received a nice bouncy chair from a relative in North Carolina and Ava uses this and her swing every day. Here is a pic......

Ava's First Days at home

After 3 days at the hospital, we were able to take Ava home. This was an exciting but scary time since Philip and I are first time parents. Ava was so tiny 3 months ago it is hard to believe she has grown so much in a short time. I am happy to see her smiling face each and every morning (even if I had to be up with her every 3 hours). She has changed our lives forever and we love her with all of our heart..... Believe me she does smile sometimes hahahaha

Ava's First Pacifier

I am such a new mommy that I forgot to bring a pacifier for Ava. She was extremely fussy especially in the evenings while at the hospital even after she was nursed. I finally asked my nurse for a paci on the last night and finally she was able to sleep..... We will see how difficult it is to break her from her new friend the Paci. I think I will let Daddy do that hehehe!!!!

Ava is Here!!!!

On Thursday March 26, 2009 at 3:09 am Ava was born!!!! I was in labor for 22 hours and eventhough I had a difficult time (ended up with a C-Section) I am so proud to be the mother of a healthy beautiful girl who weighed 6 lbs 14 ounces and was 19.5 inches long. I was so exhausted that during the C-Section I heard her cry when they took her out of me I closed my eyes and I was out like a light. I woke up in another room where the first thing I saw was my husband holding our beautiful daughter. This was one of the best moments I will ever have... with many more to come of course!!!!
